Welcome to Ejaculatory Anhedonia Forums!

Ejaculatory Anhedonia Definition

From wikipedia: "Sexual anhedonia is known as 'ejaculatory anhedonia'. This rare condition means that the person will ejaculate with no accompanying sense of pleasure. This condition is most frequently found in males, but women can suffer from lack of pleasure when the body goes through the orgasm process as well."

To access the forum on "ejaculation without orgasm" go to

(highly recommended).

Lostmojo I like the site.  Way faster then the site we normally post on.  Now if we can just get everybody to move over here it will be good.

Hello

I've been following the ejaculatory anhedonia thread on the hisandherhealth website for over a year - I think the thread was on about page 30 when I found it. I was so happy to find that I wasn't the only one, but I'm also sad that there doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel at the moment.

I've only recently started posting on the hisandherhealth thread, although I'm quite happy to move over to this forum if it help me find a solution to the ejaculatory anhedonia.

Is it acceptable to duplicate posts I've put on the hisandherhealth thread on this forum as well?

I think we need a "sticky" like a guideline so people don't post randomness. Besides that maybe a section other than the forum dedicated to the rest of material about EA.

I've asked the question:"what can be done to prevent ejaculatory anhedonia and what can be done to cure it" to "thedoctors" tv show as far as I know there hasen't been a show about it. Maybe its a shot in the dark but it doesn't hurt to send them the question, so far only those with the "disorder" and the physicians they've consulted know about EA. Here are two sites for dr shows, just type in the question and give your name or some other name if your uncomfortable.

http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/ask_our_doctors
http://ask.doctoroz.com/

Some research by qualified personel could help to. getting the word out and having scientific research done seems to be the procedure for finding general cures, I mean they found a viagra for impotency right.

I've created a "sticky" topic called guidelines.

Feel free to make suggestions as to what else should be placed in there.

Kudos to the Administrator for establishing this new forum.

Is there a way to import (copy & paste) some or most of the posts from our once ongoing thread on His & Her Health?

yetanotherone feel free to duplicate what you consider to be important posts of your own from hisandherhealth to here, this new site needs the content to help make others feel like posting here.

Michael unfortunately I have no way of automatically copying posts from hisandherhealth to here and that might even be an infringement of copyright for all I know. However if you would like to copy and paste some of your own posts to here (highlight your text, press ctrl c to copy, then make a new post in here and press ctrl v to paste).

I like your avatar, do you have a foot fetish like Quentin?  :P

These might be totally a coincidence but as we have raised virtually everyone else I think it is worth noting.

About the same time that AE set in my eyesight started to deteriorate. Of course it could be a physical thing purely related to the eyes themselves but I'm wondering if there is some chemical imbalance that could cause both?

Also I got braces around the same time. Now that might seem like a ridiculous thing to raise but I know someone who got asthma for the first time ever soon after getting braces. They went to a naturopath who showed them a chart which indicated which tooth or teeth (I don't remember) were linked to the lungs and these were teeth that had been moved considerably by the braces. The asthma stopped soon after the braces came off and has not come back!

Further to the tooth/organ connections have a look at this:

http://www.toothandbodyconnection.com/Tooth_Organ2.pdf
and
http://www.healthcarealternatives.net/toothbody.html

Might be a wild goose chase in terms of the EA but very interesting nevertheless.

As you say its probably coincidence but I'd say that my eye sight started to deteriorate at roughly the same time the AE started. My eye sight isn't that bad, as its only -2.75, although I seemed to go from perfect vision to -2.75 over a year or so and it seems to have stayed the same for several years.

;D Thank you -- no foot fetish, just a fan.

I will sift thru the His & Her Health thread and pull out the important data, such as
this gem from BostonGuy
http://www.harryfisch.com/docs/Transurethral%20Resection.pdf

(I believe BostonGuy has his Tured procedure in Feb 2010) -- still shocked that the Andrologist tests didn't shine light on NeedHelp's  EA

Hi all, Ive been looking at the posts in the forum with great interest; especially regarding the Gaba medication.

I'm just wondering, I'm 45 years old and have suffered with this since I was 15. Something else Ive had since almost that time is the need to go the the loo more than most people. Its not really a problem, but Im wondering how many other poster to this forum have this? If so, we can look at overactive bladder syndrome. (I'll be looking into it anyway)

Also I'm awaiting results of tests at mo, I have had my blood, sperm and had a scan of my prostate. I havent had feedback yet from the hospital but I'll let you know what happens.

Well Harvey I don't need to go the toilet all the time, I would be interested to know if this is a problem with anybody else.

Is your prostrate sexually sensitive? By this I mean is it pleasurable in any way to stimulate your prostrate? I've read of these people who can have mind blowing orgasms through stimulation of the prostrate. For me the area is a non event, it is neither pleasurable or uncomfortable. I think it may be connected to the AE. The problem is that it is so long ago since I was able to have a normal orgasm that I do not remember if I was able to get any pleasure from prostrate stimulation at the time. ???

im sure the prostate is the key to all this when i was young under 10  i used to orgasm from climbing ropes  and used to climb the edge of doors  it must have been arousing the prostate ..
